Haider, 24, fled from Dubai to London on Monday and announced he had retired, claiming he had received death threats after refusing to fix two matches. However, on Tuesday, he appeared to leave the door open for a return to international cricket. But, on Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board suspended his contract for violating its terms and conditions. The PCB claims to have been unable to contact Haider, though he has spoken to the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit who say they will remain in touch with him. ![]() Paceman Ryan Sidebottom has re-signed for Yorkshire on a three-year contract. The 32-year-old former England international left Headingley in 2004 for Nottinghamshire, where he won Championship titles in 2005 and 2010. Huddersfield-born Sidebottom made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in 1997 and went on to win the 2001 County Championship and the 2002 C&G Trophy. "I'm a Yorkshire lad and the chance to return to Headingley was something I couldn't ignore," he said. "The Yorkshire side has some real quality and under Martyn Moxon and Andrew Gale made real strides forward. "I want to give the county everything I can over the next three years and if we can reward the Yorkshire public with a trophy or two that would be fantastic."
