Sidebottom returns! 10/05/2010
![]() Paceman Ryan Sidebottom has re-signed for Yorkshire on a three-year contract. The 32-year-old former England international left Headingley in 2004 for Nottinghamshire, where he won Championship titles in 2005 and 2010. Huddersfield-born Sidebottom made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in 1997 and went on to win the 2001 County Championship and the 2002 C&G Trophy. "I'm a Yorkshire lad and the chance to return to Headingley was something I couldn't ignore," he said. "The Yorkshire side has some real quality and under Martyn Moxon and Andrew Gale made real strides forward. "I want to give the county everything I can over the next three years and if we can reward the Yorkshire public with a trophy or two that would be fantastic."
