Essex dominated Yorkshire with both bat and ball at Chelmsford to claim a 87-run victory that books their place in the Friends Provident Trophy final. England opener Alastair Cook hit a fine 95 and Graham Napier struck 61 off 34 balls as the hosts finished on 285-8. Andrew Gale (64) and Anthony McGrath (53) offered Yorkshire early hope before they collapsed to 198 all out.
