At last Strauss comes into form with a century,along with Bell.Going into the 4th day with a lead of 501 seems sure to guarantee a match and series win!

What an extraordinary 2nd day with Sidebottom taking 7-47.Eng will start the 3rd day with a lead of 176 and 8 wickets left.Surely they cannot lose from this position!

It is GOOD news that Sidebottom has made a rapid recovery,and will be fit for the first test against NZ tomorrow.He is the number one bowler now,especially if Harmison plays,and strays offline!

Eng were getting back into the game with Ryan Sidebottom(below) taking 3 quick wickets when the rain came!So NZ won the match and the one day series under the Duckworth-Lewis rules.

After Eng scored an impressive 340,NZ needed 2runs off the last ball of the innings,but only scored 1,so the game is a tie.Now Eng need to win the last game on Saturday to tie the series!

The 4th match in the series starts tonight at 10pm GMT.Eng must win in order to level the series and stand a chance of being overall winners by winning the last game on Saturday morning!
