Brilliant snooker from O'Sullivan 01/12/2010
Ronnie O'Sullivan won a superb high-scoring game against Neil Robertson 6-4 to reach the last eight of the Masters. Robertson went 3-0 up but O'Sullivan gained a foothold when a 114 break won him the last frame before the interval. The former world champion closed the gap in the next and pulled level with a break of 87 in the sixth frame. Clearing the colours gave O'Sullivan a cagey seventh frame but Robertson's 140 levelled matters only for O'Sullivan to to win it with breaks of 106 and 76. O'Sullivan now plays Peter Ebdon in the quarter-final, and admitted Robertson's superb start had caught him somewhat off-guard.
