As the fireworks are starting outside,I can't help but smile about a time,maybe 35 years ago.I was getting a fire going in the garden,with the help of my dad,to entertain my daughter.
Before we started with the fireworks,I went to check on Prince,my Alsatian dog;he was missing!(other fireworks had been cracking and banging for about 30 mins).
All was well,after a pal called me 2 hours later,and told me that Prince was in front of the fire at the local pub!
Taking Prince for a walk ALWAYS ended in the Hare&Hounds so he obviously knew where he might find me,after the BANGS started!
