Have had several communications with Dell today but still no nearer to getting PC fixed,despite "3 year AT HOME warranty".This is very annoying!

Well,I tried to restore settings to factory defaults,but all I ended up with was a message:"cannot restore"--hence am now waiting for a reply from Dell regarding my problem.Thank goodness I have the laptop!

Am intending to re-install WINDOWS on my desktop tomorrow(for the 1st time)With all this entails I am feeling a bit apprehensive this evening!
